After years of hypothetically talking about living together in Buenos Aires, one of my dearest friends, John Kruchoski, arrived at my front door to stay with me for 5 weeks! He had studied here twice and hadn’t been back in 5 years, and I was so excited to show him “my” Buenos Aires and experience his side – while also noticing the differences that the city has undergone in that time. We started out by taking in the wonderfully warm day (he arrived from the beginnings of winter in Italy and Paris) by heading to the Bosques de Palermo and the Rose Garden.
