John and I went to explore the GRAN Barrio Chino (Chinatown). We noticed we had entered Chinatown when the parking restriction signs included Chinese New Year.
But as soon as we were in, we were out – it’s really only about 3 blocks worth of stores filled with all the Made in China products that you’d ever want and a few Chinese restaurants.
we'd been trying different varieties of alfajores...we had to go with the "chocoarroz" one, since we were in Barrio Chino...unfortunately, it was pretty much rice cake with a thin layer of dulce de leche & not very good chocolate exterior
