The weekend started with an asado with the roommates on Friday.

And was followed by another asado on Saturday with Lourdes and Lluis before they went traveling for a few weeks and eventually to Barcelona in the end of December. Bruno manned the parrilla and cooked up some phenomenal empanadas tucumanas (fried and more juicy and spicy than typical empanadas).

On Sunday, John and I went to San Telmo in search of a mortero (mortar and pestle) to make some caiparinhas…and there was success!
