Meri’s sister was in town, along with some friends from Germany (she had studied with one 6 years ago through Erasmus in Scotland), so we all went to see the Bomba de Tiempo at Konex.

An orquestra from Mozambique joined them to form nearly a 25 person group with tropical sounds backed up by the deep percussion beats of La Bomba! The show just made you want to move!
Afterward, we went to an old restaurant nearby that had live Bossa Nova music – a bit calmer and definitely a nice way to end the evening.
